Its elegant size and range Versatile wide-angle focal lengths make it ideal for landscape, nature and architectural shooting, as well as for astrophotography applications. Its optical design incorporates extra-low and aspherical dispersion elements to correct a variety of aberrations and distortions for a sharper and clearer image quality and accurate color reproduction. A frog eye coating has also been applied to repel dust and moisture from the front lens element to benefit work in difficult environmental conditions. In addition, the manual aperture ring can be clicked for smooth and silent aperture changes to adapt to video applications, and the back of the lens is threaded to accept 37mm thread filters.
The ultra wide angle zoom is designed for Nikon mirrorless cameras with Z-mount FX format.
The especially elegant design measures only 2.75 x 3.6 "and weighs approximately 1 lb.
