Thanks to Nikon's Stepper Motor, these two new lenses focus silently and are faster than ever. When zooming in on the image to capture a photo, subjects stay in focus instantly and with absolute precision.

When recording a video footage, the engine allows you to smoothly shift the focus from one subject to another subject without the drive noise being heard. The footage capture will not be affected by any very low, but still audible, sound from the lens focus.

SIMPLIFIED CONTROL, EASY PORTABILITY

Manual focusing, or activating and deactivating the VR function, by using the camera menu*. With no switches on the lens cylinder itself, there is no possibility of accidentally changing the setting at the time of taking the photo. The body of the AF-P DX NIKKOR 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6G VR lens weighs only 205g.
