Canon EF-S 55-250 mm f / 4-5.6 IS STM Lens

EF-S 55-250 mm f / 4-5.6 IS STM is a zoom equivalent to 88-400 mm for CanonAPS-C DSLRs. The long range of this lens is reinforced by the inclusion of an Ultra Low Dispersion element, which helps greatly reduce color fringes and chromatic aberrations for greater clarity and color accuracy throughout the zoom range

Benefiting both photographic and video applications, an STM incremental advance STM motor is used to achieve fast, near-quiet autofocus performance along with full-time manual focus override, and a four-point image stabilizer system is also introduced to minimize camera shake appearance for sharper manual shooting.

The telephoto zoom is designed for Canon EF-S DSLRs in APS-C format and provides an equivalent focal length range of 88-400 mm.

An Ultra-Low Dispersion glass element significantly reduces color fringes and chromatic aberrations for greater clarity and color fidelity.

Super Spectra coating has been applied to individual elements to minimize ghosting and glare for greater contrast and color neutrality when working in bright lighting conditions.

An optical image stabilizer helps minimize the appearance of camera shake by up to 3.5 stops to enable better work in low-light conditions and slower shutter speeds.

Improved lens coatings minimize glare and ghosts to produce true-to-life colors with maintained contrast.

An STM staggered AF engine delivers a smooth, almost silent autofocus complemented by a rear-focus system, advanced AF algorithms, and a high-speed CPU for fast AF performance. In addition, full-time manual focus cancellation is also available.

The seven-leaf rounded diaphragm contributes to a pleasant blurred quality that benefits from the use of shallow depth of field and selective focusing techniques.

Se agradece mucho el estabilizador, pero si te apoyas con un monopié, trípode o algún otro complemento, mejor todavía. A veces tiene alguna pequeña aberración o halos en las distancias extremas, lo normal y nada que no se pueda corregir en el revelado digital. Sin duda estoy muy contenta con él y con sus resultados.
