One of the most versatile lenses available, the EF 70-200mm f/2.8 L is III USM by Canon is a L-series telephoto lens distinguished by its bright design and advanced optics. Ideal for a variety of subjects ranging from portraits to sports, the fast maximum opening of f/2.8 excels in difficult lighting conditions and also provides greater control over depth of field to isolate subjects. The optical design makes use of an element of fluorite and five elements UD to suppress chromatic aberrations and colored edges to obtain a high degree of clarity throughout the zoom range. An Air Sphere coating is also offered, which works to reduce flashes and phantom effect for greater color fidelity and contrast in all conditions.
As a complement to speed and optics, there is an optical image stabilizer, which compensates for 3.5 stops of camera movement to allow for better operation of the handheld device and in low light situations. A ring-type USM and internal focusing mechanism also provide fast, quiet, and accurate auto-focus performance, as well as a manual override of the full-time approach. In addition, this lens is sealed against the weather for use in harsh environmental conditions.
The versatile telephoto Zoom is designed for Canon EF full-mount DSLR cameras, however, it can also be used with APS-C models where it provides an equivalent focal length range of 112-320 mm.

An optical Image stabilizer helps minimize the appearance of camera shakes in up to 3.5 shutter speed stops to enable better work in low light conditions and with slower shutter speeds. In addition to the single-shot standard mode, a second mode is also available that is optimized for panning.
An ultrasonic ring-type motor (USM) is used, together with an internal focusing system, to provide fast, accurate and quiet automatic focusing performance as well as a manual override of the full-time approach.
The focus limit switch allows you to restrict the focus to two different ranges to suit different applications: 3.9 '-infinity or 8.2 '-infinity.
