EF-S 55-250 mm f / 4-5,6 IS STM è uno zoom equivalente a 88-400 mm per le reflex digitali CanonAPS-C. La lunga portata di questo obiettivo è rafforzata dall'inclusione di un elemento di dispersione ultra bassa, che aiuta a ridurre notevolmente le frange di colore e le aberrazioni cromatiche per una maggiore chiarezza e precisione del colore in tutta la gamma di zoom

Il teleobiettivo zoom è stato progettato per le reflex digitali Canon EF-S in formato APS-C e fornisce una lunghezza focale equivalente di 88-400 mm.

Un elemento in vetro a bassissima dispersione riduce significativamente le frange di colore e le aberrazioni cromatiche per una maggiore chiarezza e fedeltà cromatica.

Il rivestimento Super Spectra è stato applicato ai singoli elementi per ridurre al minimo i fantasmi e il riverbero per un maggiore contrasto e la neutralità dei colori quando si lavora in condizioni di luce intensa.

Uno stabilizzatore ottico dell'immagine aiuta a ridurre al minimo l'aspetto delle vibrazioni della fotocamera fino a 3,5 stop per consentire un lavoro migliore in condizioni di scarsa illuminazione e tempi di posa più lunghi.

I migliori rivestimenti delle lenti riducono al minimo il riverbero e i fantasmi per produrre colori realistici con un contrasto costante.

Un motore AF sfalsato STM offre un autofocus fluido e quasi silenzioso, completato da un sistema di messa a fuoco posteriore, algoritmi AF avanzati e una CPU ad alta velocità per prestazioni AF veloci. Inoltre, è disponibile anche la cancellazione manuale a tempo pieno della messa a fuoco.

Il diaframma arrotondato a sette foglie contribuisce ad una piacevole qualità sfuocata che beneficia dell'uso di tecniche di messa a fuoco selettiva e di profondità di campo ridotta.

Es el único teleobjetivo que he utilizado. Bueno para iniciarse, para acercarse un poco más a animales o si algunos motivos se te quedan alejados con otros objetivos de menos distancia focal, o se asustan como aves o insectos, lo recomiendo para iniciarse y comenzar a aprender a manejar otras distancias más largas. Se agradece mucho el estabilizador, pero si te apoyas con un monopié, trípode o algún otro complemento, mejor todavía. A veces tiene alguna pequeña aberración o halos en las distancias extremas, lo normal y nada que no se pueda corregir en el revelado digital. Sin duda estoy muy contenta con él y con sus resultados.
