Three panels offering three different workflows

With three panels to choose from, it's easy to find the right solution for your work. The DaVinci Resolve Advanced Panel is ideal for studios dedicated exclusively to color grading. The DaVinci Resolve Mini Panel is the perfect solution for editing and color grading, or when a portable control panel is needed. The DaVinci Resolve Micro Panel is a small and professional control panel. Thanks to its compact size, it can easily be placed next to a keyboard for simultaneous editing and color grading, or used with a laptop for on-the-go color grading. Since the controls of the three panels are located in similar positions, it's easy to switch between them, even when they are controlled by different panels.

Primary creative calibration controls

For even more creative color grading, the Mini and Micro panels of DaVinci Resolve include twelve dedicated control wheels for primary color grading. They are designed to facilitate the creation of renders for your images and produce a cinematic aesthetic. You can press all the wheels to instantly reset the control. This is very useful when you are trying to create new renders and get confused. In that case, just press the dials!

Elevator Y

This parameter adjusts the contrast of the shadow areas of the image, but only in the luminance channel (Y). It is ideal for changing the black point without altering the saturation.

And Gama

Adjust the contrast of the midtones of the image through the channel that represents luminance (Y). This adjustment adds depth and vibrancy to the shots.

Profit Y

Adjust the contrast of the bright areas of the image using the luminance channel (Y). This parameter increases the whites to make the shot appear more angelic.

Contrast

Increase the contrast to make the blacks darker and the whites brighter. Reduce it to achieve the opposite effect. Use this adjustment to improve the dynamic range and make the images stand out.

Pivot

This parameter changes the value to which the dark and light areas of the image are expanded or reduced during a contrast adjustment.

Medium tone detail

This parameter increases the contrast of areas in the image with sharp contours to enhance or reduce the perception of the image's sharpness. When this parameter has a negative value, areas of the image with little detail are softened, and areas with a lot of detail remain unchanged. This parameter is very useful for smoothing the subject's face being filmed and is frequently used in advertisements.

Increase in color

This parameter naturally enhances areas of the image with low saturation and does not modify areas with adequate saturation. This parameter is very useful for adding color without oversaturating the image.

Darkness

This parameter allows you to lighten or darken the details of the low lights. By increasing this value, the details in the shadows are recovered without altering the midtones.

Presented

Easily recover details in the highlight areas of high dynamic range images by reducing this setting. This way, you will achieve a better transition between light and mid-tones for a natural result.

Saturation

This parameter increases or decreases the saturation of the image. When the saturation is high, the colors are more intense, and when it is low, the intensity of the colors decreases. You can reduce this setting until the colors disappear to obtain a grayscale image.

Hue

This parameter rotates all the hues of the image around the entire perimeter of the color wheel. By default, this parameter is set to 50. This value preserves the original distribution of the hues.

Mix of luminances

This parameter controls the balance between the YRGB adjustments and the luminance adjustments made with the Y lift, Y gamma, and Y gain controls of the Primaries palette or with the Luma curve.

Professional trackballs

The trackballs adjust the RGB balance using a general level control for lift, gamma, and gain functions. The advanced panel of DaVinci Resolve also incorporates a master level trackball that allows you to adjust the hue and brightness of the entire image. The trackballs can be set to Log or RGB mode with just the touch of a button.

Luminous buttons

The buttons on the DaVinci Resolve control panels light up when selected to allow you to easily see the active controls. All models feature backlit buttons, making them easy to detect even in low light.

Varied food options

The DaVinci Resolve Micro Panel is powered via USB, so simply connect it and start using it. You can connect it to a laptop and power it from the computer's battery, which is very useful for on-set calibration. The DaVinci Resolve Mini Panel also includes an Ethernet port, so you can connect it to your network, which is ideal for larger studios. Additionally, thanks to its PoE compatibility, it can receive power through the network connection, so you won't need to plug it into a power source anymore.
