The new Blackmagic PYXIS 6K offers a recording experience previously unknown thanks to its advanced features. Equipped with a USB-C expansion port, we can transfer our content directly to external flash drives or SSDs quickly and easily. It also features two exclusive slots for CFexpress Type B cards, known for their durability and high read and write speeds. With the ability to record Blackmagic RAW 12-bit files in high resolution, we can record for hours without worrying about the space we need. One of the most notable features of the CFexpress Type B card slots is that they allow continuous recording without interruptions, eliminating the need to pause the recording to change storage devices. Thanks to the speed of these cards, it will be easy to insert them into any computer and immediately edit the created content with the DaVinci Resolve Studio program, which comes included with the camera.

Blackmagic RAW is an innovative format that captures all the sensor information to ensure exceptional image quality from shooting to post-production. It allows for camera adjustments such as ISO, white balance, and exposure in the form of metadata without losing quality. Blackmagic RAW files are lightweight, easy to process, and deliver the best results in terms of quality, size, and speed.

• Color Temperature: This setting tells the camera how to interpret white and other colors in the image. Instead of embedding the color values into the recorded material, Blackmagic RAW allows them to be modified in DaVinci Resolve Studio during post-production.

• Contrast: By adjusting the contrast (the range of tones) of an image, it is possible to highlight certain parts. Although one should always aim to achieve the best shot during filming, Blackmagic RAW provides the ability to modify this parameter during editing and color grading without losing quality.

• ISO: A parameter that affects the camera's sensitivity to light. To achieve proper exposure, it is necessary to find an optimal combination between this factor, the aperture, and the shutter speed. Depending on the lighting and camera settings, it may be necessary to adjust the ISO value during post-production.

• Tint: Values that impact the overall chromatic balance of the image. Unlike saturation or average value, which can cause an increase in the intensity of red and yellow tones, tint allows for independent adjustment of colors.

• Saturation: It is the intensity or purity of a color. The higher this value, the more authentic the colors are, while decreasing it gives them a grayish tint. By adjusting this parameter in Blackmagic RAW images, it is possible to highlight or tone down certain hues.

• Exposure: It will always be necessary to ensure that they are not too dark or too bright. In this sense, Blackmagic RAW allows you to change the exposure during post-production, in order to preserve the shots where this value is not the most appropriate.
