The Tokina atx-m 11-18 mm F2.8 E is the first super wide-angle zoom lens from Tokina designed exclusively for mirrorless cameras. It features a fast f/2.8 aperture throughout the zoom range and an 11-18mm zoom (17-27 mm in 35 mm equivalent) in a compact and lightweight body for both photography and video users.

With its compact design, versatile focal length, and optical quality, the Tokina atx-m 11-18 mm F2.8 E is the perfect gear for photographing landscapes, group photos, environmental portraits, architecture, astrophotography, street photography, documentary videos, and vlogging.

Compact and lightweight. The Tokina atx-m 11-18 mm F2.8 E features a lightweight (335 g) and compact design (total length of 74.1 mm) to match with Sony's E-mount mirrorless cameras. Despite being a super wide-angle lens, it is so small that it does not feel bulky.

With its compact design, versatile focal length, and optical quality, the Tokina atx-m 11-18 mm F2.8 E is the perfect gear for photographing landscapes, group photos, environmental portraits, architecture, astrophotography, street photography, documentary videos, and vlogging.

Optical Design
The Tokina atx-m 11-18 mm F2.8 incorporates a complex optical design with a well-balanced arrangement of 2 aspherical glass elements and 2 super low dispersion (SD) elements to suppress chromatic aberrations and provide rich color reproduction and low distortion.

Fast f/2.8 aperture. The Tokina atx-m 11-18 mm F2.8 features a fast f/2.8 aperture throughout the zoom range for a shallower depth of field and 9 blades that provide a rounded diaphragm for smooth-edged bokeh in background lights.

Full communication with the camera body. The Tokina atx-m 11-18 mm F2.8 offers full compatibility with the advanced functions of Sony's E-mount cameras, including fast hybrid AF, image stabilization, direct manual focus, MF assist mode, Eye AF, and different optical corrections like shading, chromatic aberration, and distortion.

Micro USB port for firmware updates
Users can update the lens firmware via a USB
(Type B) cable.
