The Sony FE 50/1.2 GM is a classic lens with a normal focal length made in a modern, compact, and elegant design. It is a standard lens that can be used in a multitude of situations: from portraits, landscapes, to documentary subjects. Its bright aperture allows you to shoot in low-light conditions while controlling the depth of field. Additionally, its G Master lens features an advanced optimal design that corrects images with a high degree of clarity and sharpness.

Maximum brightness in an 11-blade mechanism
Its f/1.2 aperture and 11-blade circular aperture mechanism contribute to the magnificent G Master bokeh that truly makes portraits and other subjects stand out from the background. Three XA (eXtreme Aspherical) elements provide excellent control of spherical aberrations by reducing a variety of aberrations, color fringing, and distortion.

Compact and sealed design
Its design allows use in very adverse conditions: resistance to dust, moisture, and fluorine coating on the lens to shoot in very unfavorable conditions while obtaining the best results.

Sony G Master Series

Suppresses flare and ghosting to enhance contrast in the image. The balance of the optics is a XD linear motor system that uses four separate focus motors to deliver especially quiet, precise, and fast autofocus performance.

Provides fast, silent, and precise autofocus performance. This design also contributes to a more natural and intuitive linear response manual focus control, and an AF/MF switch is located on the lens barrel for tactile control over this setting.
