The 13-blade rounded diaphragm of this lens is a first for Sigma and maintains a circular shape, which helps create a smooth and round bokeh effect even when the aperture is closed down.

Designed with comfort in mind, the 50mm f/1.2 is equipped with multiple features to assist you while shooting. There is an AFL button available to maintain focus at a single distance. Some camera models allow customization of the AFL function.

The dust and splash-resistant lens structure combined with the water and oil-repellent coating of the front lens element create an overall durable and reliable lens in the field. The aperture ring can be locked and set to click or de-click according to your preference.
