The Viltrox 23mm f1.4 XF is a high-brightness lens specially designed for Canon EOS M. Its equivalent focal length offers a viewing angle similar to a 35mm in Full Frame, a very shallow depth of field at maximum aperture, and a delightful blur, which allows focusing attention in the image on the main subject. Its minimum focus distance, at 0.3 m, accentuates these characteristics.
The construction of its lenses offers the structure of a "prime" lens: 11 elements in 10 groups, including 2 ED (extra-low dispersion) lenses and 2 high-refractive lenses, which minimize chromatic aberration.
The quiet STM motor offers fast and smooth focusing, both in photography and video.
Simple switch from AF to manual focus and from automatic to manual aperture, with a simple turn of the ring. Firmware update autonomy accessible thanks to a microUSB connector on the lens mount.
Easy to carry, comfortable to use. Its 260g weight and compact design offer lightness and ergonomics.
