An advanced optical design benefits from a Super Spectra coating, which helps control reflections and ghost images for greater contrast and color accuracy when working in bright light or backlit conditions. Capable of focusing up to 6.7" at half natural size, this lens is ideal for shooting from bright or backlit conditions. Wide-angle Prime is designed for use with Canon digital cameras without RF rack mount frame.

Brilliant maximum aperture suits f / 1.8 that work in difficult lighting conditions and also offer greater control over depth of field.

Super Spectra coating has been applied to individual elements to minimize ghosting and glare for greater contrast and color neutrality when working in bright lighting conditions.

An optical image stabilizer helps minimize camera shake in up to five stops to allow better work in low-light conditions and slower shutter speeds.

The macro design benefits work with close-up subjects and provides a maximum magnification of 1: 2 along with a minimum focusing distance of 6.7"

The STM stepper motor offers fast, quiet, smooth and precise autofocus performance that is ideal for video recording and photography.

The configurable control ring can be used to adjust a variety of exposure settings, including aperture, ISO, and exposure compensation.

The rounded nine-leaf diaphragm contributes to a pleasant bokeh quality.

La contrucción es muy buena (pesa más de lo que esperaba también) y la verdad es que estoy muy contento con el objetivo. El sonido del autoenfoque no se percibe practicamente nada en vídeo porque va más lento que en modo fotos. Sólo le he dado un 9/10 porque me encantaría que fuese más barato.
