Macro Lens Tilt-Shift Canon TS-E 50 mm f / 2.8L

Characterized by its near focus and perspective control capabilities, Canon's TS-E 50mm f / 2.8L Macro is a normal length tilt shift lens well suited for product, desktop, architectural and interior photography. a tilt of up to +/- 8.5° is possible for focus control and a change of +/- 12mm to adjust perspective and composition, and a tilt lock mechanism can be used for more stability. A minimum focus distance of 10.6" and a maximum magnification of 0.5x also benefit from a minimum focus distance of 10.6" and a maximum magnification of 0.5x.

The perspective control, tilt shift lens offers +/- 12 mm of displacement and +/- 8.5° of tilt, and both types of movements can be applied independently and parallel or perpendicular to each other. In addition, the tilt and shift functions can be rotated +/- 90° in any direction to apply the movements in different directions.

The tilt lock mechanism and a large tilt knob benefit the operation and ensure the lens stays in place while shooting.

Two Ultra-Low Dispersion (UD) elements help reduce color fringes and chromatic aberrations for greater color clarity and accuracy.

An aspherical element minimizes spherical aberrations and distortion to improve sharpness.

Both Air Sphere and Subwavelength Coatings have been applied to the lens elements to minimize surface and internal reflections to achieve a marked reduction in lens flare and ghost images when working in intense lighting conditions.

A minimum focus distance of 10.6" along with a maximum magnification of 0.5x benefits working with close-up subjects.
