The Hoya Fusion One Next series filters are an improved version of the Fusion One series and are the successors of the legendary Hoya Pro1D series. The Fusion One Next filters are made of high-quality optical glass. The filter is surrounded by an ultra-thin matte frame that prevents light from reflecting on the filter frame. The filters have a stain-resistant and water-repellent surface and a multi-layer coating, which significantly reduces reflections and ghost images.

A UV filter is a basic companion in photography equipment. It prevents UV rays from reaching the sensor and is perfect as a daily lens protection filter. Since the UV filter does not affect contrast or color balance, it can be combined with other filters.

Ultraviolet light is invisible to the eye but can still affect image quality, especially in situations where the amount of UV radiation is higher (in mountains with clean air, coastal areas in spring, areas with a thinner ozone layer). The result in this case is a stronger blue tone and images with less sharpness.
