This 72mm B+W MRC-Nano Master high transmission circular polarizing filter helps reduce reflections and glare by filtering light that has been polarized due to reflection from non-metallic surfaces. Ambient sunlight is naturally partially polarized due to reflecting off the electrons in air molecules, causing the light to scatter, appearing as haze. A polarizing filter organizes this light perpendicularly to the reflected light, resulting in a noticeable reduction of glare and reflections from non-metallic surfaces and an increase in the saturation of skies and foliage.
