B+W BASIC MRC FILTER 95MM

This basic 95 mm B+W MRC circular polarizing filter reduces reflections and glare by filtering light that has been polarized due to reflection from a non-metallic surface. Sunlight is partially polarized naturally as it reflects off electrons in air molecules, causing it to scatter in what appears to be a haze. A polarizing filter organizes this directionally polarized light perpendicularly to the reflected light, allowing the absorption of much of this light.

This results in a noticeable reduction of glare and reflections from non-metallic surfaces and an increase in the saturation of the sky and foliage. Objects and people behind surfaces such as shop windows and car windshields become visible again, a fascinating image enhancement without the need for post-production image processing.
