The microscope has a classic monocular head and a revolving nosepiece for four objectives. The kit includes a wide angle eyepiece and achromatic objectives with different magnifications. The head is 360 ° rotatable, allowing the microscope to be used for group observations. A microscope head features a 45 ° tilt angle for additional comfort during prolonged examination of the microworld.
The magnification range of a microscope is 40x to 1000x. When using a 100x objective, you can apply oil immersion. A bottle of immersion oil is included in the kit. Image sharpness can be adjusted with the help of the coaxial fine and coarse focus adjustment mechanism.
The samples are placed on a stage with a mechanical scale. Underneath, there is an Abbe condenser with an iris diaphragm. Halogen lighting is located below and is powered by an AC source. The brightness of the lighting is adjustable. You can install light filters.
The main feature of the BASE Levenhuk D320L microscope is its 3M digital camera. It allows to record observations in image and video format. The camera mounts to an optical tube instead of an eyepiece and connects to a computer with an included USB cable in real time mode. An image of the target is transmitted to a computer screen with a resolution of 2048x1536. The kit includes a software CD that enables image and video processing.
