Great magnifying power
The kit includes three objective lenses. The most powerful lens (40xs) is equipped with a spring-loaded protective mechanism. This mechanism guarantees the safety of the optics. Even if you lower the objective lens too far and touch the specimen with it, the objective lens will retract, preventing any damage. The kit also includes 2x Barlow lenses that double the magnification. The microscope in its standard configuration produces 64x, 128x, 160x, 320x, 640x and 1280x magnifications.
The optics are made of high quality clear glass. The lenses are coated with multiple layers of special anti-reflective coating. Images will always be bright, clear, and contrasting, and that's especially important when working at high magnification.
Combination illumination - explore a wide variety of microscope samples
This model is equipped with two LED lighting systems. The lowest illumination is necessary to view transparent samples. For example, you can examine the structure of a bee's wing or detect microorganisms in aquarium water. Overhead lighting allows viewing of non-transparent (opaque) objects such as paper or metal. This model can also be used to work with semi-transparent objects using top and bottom lighting at the same time. The lighting systems have adjustable brightness.
Ergonomics and reliability
The microscope has a very reliable and robust metal body. The 45 degree inclined and 360 degree rotatable head ensures the most comfortable use of the instrument. That's especially convenient when working in a group - to get a better view, simply turn your head instead of moving the entire microscope.
This microscope can also be used outside the home; the lighting system can be powered from a wall socket or standard AA batteries.
Caution: Check the specification table for the correct mains voltage and never attempt to connect a 110V device to a 220V outlet and vice versa without using a converter. Remember that the mains voltage in the USA and Canada is 110 V and 220 to 240 V in most European countries.
The experimentation kit
