Record two interviews and vlogs with your compatible Sony camera using this ECM-W2 wireless microphone system for 3 people from Sony, thanks to its two clip transmitters with built-in microphones and its dual-channel receiver with multi-interface shoe connection. The system supports the recording of analog and digital audio signals on mixed or separate channels for maximum post-production flexibility. The receiver is ultra-compact and has built-in 3.5mm TRS and USB-C output ports. Two switches on the side allow you to select separate or mixed channel recording and toggle between analog and digital output modes. Switch to safety track recording to protect against unforeseen interruptions. An attenuator switch on the transmitter units prevents clipping.

Bluetooth Wireless Communication
The units communicate with each other through the low-energy Bluetooth 3.3 LC5plus codec from a distance of up to 492 feet. The LC3plus Bluetooth codec ensures low power consumption and low latency while maintaining high sound quality.

Multi-Interface Shoe
Use the multi-interface shoe integrated into the receiver to connect wirelessly to your compatible Sony camera. The camera body can supply power to the receiver when connected. Audio is transmitted through a direct digital signal for high-quality sound without transmission deterioration.

Digital Sound Recording
A digital MEMS microphone with a high signal-to-noise ratio is integrated into the transmitter to capture clear audio with low noise. You can further eliminate distortion using the built-in noise-cut and low-cut filters. The noise-cut filter uses digital signal processing to eliminate interference, while the low-cut filter reduces unwanted low-frequency noise such as wind, air conditioning units, and vibrations.
