The Blink 500 ProX B2R consists of two compact clip-on transmitters, each with its own built-in omnidirectional microphone and 8 GB of internal memory, allowing you to quickly place them on subjects for quick run-and-gun style shots. For a more discreet look, you can connect the two included omnidirectional lavalier microphones with windshields to the 3.5mm input connectors on the transmitters. The small two-channel receiver features a 3.5mm output connection for camera use and a headphone jack for real-time audio monitoring.
The camera setup is straightforward thanks to the receiver clip, which easily attaches to the camera's shoe mount. The system offers immediate operability for anyone (thanks to a quick one-click pairing) and provides reliable transmission with clear sound up to a distance of 328 feet. The built-in rechargeable batteries provide up to 10 hours of operation. The batteries can be recharged via USB or simply by placing the transmitters and receiver in the supplied fast-charging case.
Onboard transmitter recording
The TXR has 8 GB of internal memory capable of storing up to 14.8 hours of audio at 16 or 24 bits and 48 kHz in lossless .WAV formats. An integrated touch switch can turn the recording on and off, ensuring that accidental movements do not affect the transmitter. The transmitter's internal battery can operate for up to 11 hours when not in recording mode. When internal recording is activated, the battery life is reduced to 8.5 hours.
