Ideal for content creators, videographers, journalists, vloggers, podcasters, and live broadcasts, the black Saramonic Blink Me is a truly wireless digital microphone system that offers a complete and cost-effective solution for recording dialogues, interviews, and speeches with clear sound with two people speaking simultaneously, directly to a mirrorless/DSLR camera, a recorder, or a mobile device.
The Blink Me B2 consists of two compact clip-on transmitters, each with its own built-in omnidirectional microphone, allowing you to quickly place them on subjects for run-and-gun style shooting. The small two-channel receiver features a 3.5 mm output connection for camera use and a headphone jack for real-time audio monitoring.
You can also connect to mobile devices via the USB-C port. Mounting the camera is easy thanks to the receiver's magnetic clip, which easily attaches to the camera's shoe. A phone mount is also provided.
The system offers immediate operability for anyone (thanks to quick pairing with a single click) and provides reliable transmission with clear sound at a line-of-sight distance of up to 328 feet. The built-in rechargeable batteries provide up to 8 hours of operation on the transmitters and 24 hours on the receiver. The receiver features charging contacts on both sides, allowing you to charge both transmitters simultaneously.
Versatile transmitters with high-resolution recording
The Blink Me transmitters are compact and lightweight, yet packed with features. They offer a built-in omnidirectional microphone with digital gain control, mute, and a furry windshield. The optimized 2.4 GHz wireless transmission system uses automatic frequency hopping technology to ensure stable audio transmission, even in areas with high RF activity.
The transmitters also feature up to 22 hours of integrated multi-mode recording with a resolution of up to 24 bits / 48 kHz, ensuring that a recording is never lost due to signal loss. You can even choose to record audio without the receiver entirely. The transmitters also have an HD active noise cancellation feature that offers ultra-low noise recording, focusing on the subject's voice and eliminating background noise.
Customizable touchscreen interface for creators who want to make an impression
Blink Me features a touchscreen interface that provides users with easy access to settings, allowing for quick changes in transmitter performance. It also includes a unique customizable user interface wallpaper (via the app), ideal for creators who want to make a visual statement. This allows you to display your company logo, social media account, web address, art, or even photos of your loved ones and pets. This standout feature sets Blink Me apart from other wireless systems and allows you to creatively stand out in all your content.
Dual receiver with an incredibly flexible and ingenious touchscreen
The system includes a remarkable two-channel touchscreen receiver that can be mounted on a camera. It features a magnetic cold shoe mount that allows you to place it on top of a camera or a smartphone using the included tripod phone mount. The receiver charges the transmitters when connected magnetically between takes or when the receiver is being charged.
It offers a full-featured touchscreen that allows you to control the receiver settings and all transmitter settings remotely. The receiver also has 3 output settings: Mono, which allows you to record the mixed microphones; Stereo, which separates the microphones into the left and right outputs; or Safety Mono, which mixes the microphones with a full signal on the left and a -6 dB safety track on the right.
Simultaneous audio outputs of 3.5 mm and USB-C
The receiver features a 3.5 mm output with automatic detection and a TRRS output cable, allowing you to connect it to any 3.5 mm device and it will automatically detect whether it is TRS or TRRS. It also has a stereo USB-C digital output, enabling you to connect it to smartphones, tablets, computers, and more with USB-C.
Combine it with an Apple USB to Lightning adapter to make it compatible with iPhones and iPads with Lightning ports. And the best part is that you can record from the 3.5 mm and USB-C outputs simultaneously, allowing you to record on multiple devices at the same time. It also features a 3.5 mm headphone output for real-time monitoring, which is essential for recording on devices that lack a headphone output.
Application for advanced control, customization, video/audio recording, and much more
Blink Me takes control and customization to the next level with the Saramonic app. Adding the Saramonic app allows you to customize the user interface of the transmitters to include a new theme or add your logo or image. It also gives you control over the transmitter button functions, allowing you to change what the transmitter buttons do to optimize your production workflow.
It also includes the integrated Saramonic SmartRecorder, which provides you with full-featured free audio and video recording applications, an ideal app recorder for Blink Me and other microphones. Both feature gain control, low-cut filters, noise reduction, voice enhancement, and much more.
