The dynamic Tamron 11-20mm F/2.8 Di III-A2 RXD lens is a fast-aperture ultra-wide-angle zoom lens for APS-C mirrorless cameras with a FUJIFILM X mount. It features a fast and constant maximum aperture of f/2.8 and has a compact and lightweight design. This ultra-wide-angle lens is especially suitable for landscape photography, astrophotography, and architecture. Its bright f/2.8 aperture complements this range and offers greater control over depth of field along with improved performance in low light. The optical design incorporates one XLD element, two LD elements, and two glass-molded aspherical elements to produce a highly corrected image with reduced chromatic aberrations and color fringing to enhance clarity and color accuracy. The individual elements also feature Tamron's BBAR coating, which suppresses flare and ghosting for greater contrast when working in strong lighting and backlit conditions. A responsive RXD stepping drive motor enables fast and nearly silent autofocus performance to suit both stills and video. The minimum object distance is just 5.9" at the widest end of the zoom range, unlocking a powerful wide-angle macro shooting capability with a unique perspective that makes close objects appear larger and distant objects smaller. Additionally, the maximum aperture of f/2.8 produces a shallower depth of field that creates smooth background bokeh details. The moisture-resistant construction protects the lens in harsh conditions, and a fluorine coating on the front lens element protects against dust, dirt, and smudges.

The RXD (Rapid eXtra-silent stepping Drive) autofocus motor offers impressively quiet, fast, and smooth focusing performance to suit both photography and video applications.
