(1) High image quality design that maintains the optical performance of the original lens

• The structure of 9 elements in 5 groups maintains the optical performance of the original lens.
• By using the optimal image quality parameters for the overall characteristics of the original lens and the 2x teleconverter, it is possible to achieve excellent image performance and excellent aberration suppression.
• The aperture is 2 steps higher when the teleconverter is mounted and the camera displays and records information about the change in aperture and focal length.

(2) Autofocus performance

• Phase detection AF is still available when using the XF50-140 mm F2.8 R LM OIS WR with the 2x teleconverter mounted.
• Contrast detection AF is still available when using the XF100-400 mm F4,5-5,6 R LM OIS WR with the 2x teleconverter mounted.
• Precise focusing for super-objective focal lengths with reduced depth of field is possible thanks to the AF made by the image sensor with the "Live View" mirrorless cameras.

(3) Optical image stabilization performance

• The performance of the camera's optical image stabilization*2 is not affected by the incorporation of the teleconverter

(4) Weather and dust resistant. Can work at temperatures down to -10°C

• The use of the teleconverter together with a weather-resistant camera such as the FUJIFILM X-T1 or the digital camera without mirror X-Pro2 and the FUJINON XF50-140 mm F2,8 R LM OIS WR or XF100-400 mm F4,5-5,6 R LM OIS WR will not affect the weather resistance of the system.

(5) High quality subtle appearance
