High image quality in a compact body

With a resolution of 26.16 MP, the sensor uses an exclusive color filter array, synonymous with X-Trans CMOS sensors, to control moiré and false colors without the use of an optical low-pass filter. Thanks to the sensor, the new Fujifilm X-S20 has drastically improved performance, including burst shooting without stops up to 20 fps without cropping and significantly better AF during burst shooting. As for video, the XS20 can record 6.2k30p video without cropping, and the rolling shutter effect has also been improved to avoid unwanted distortions in high-speed objects. By placing the chips that process and read signals on the back of the sensor's surface, the readout speed is faster than in previous models. Taking advantage of the fast readout speed, it's possible to process the focus signal while processing the image for display. The CMOS sensor is fully exploited in all its splendid features by the next-generation X-Processor 5.

With the new Fujifilm XF 16-50 mm F2.8-4.8 R LM WR lens

We have a lens that stands out for being smaller and lighter than other lenses in the same range, with greater capacity to meet the demanding resolutions of the brand's sensors. The new XF 16-50mmF2.8-4.8 R LM WR is a tool that will be greatly appreciated. It covers a range from wide-angle to medium telephoto, making it ideal for daily use and featuring a weather-resistant design. We are tired of choosing between good lenses or convenient lenses... we want it all and we want it now. Versatility is fundamentally attractive in the values of the new member of the XF series, making it a lens to always have on hand. The 16 mm setting is perfect for landscapes, interiors, architecture, and group portraits, while the 50 mm setting allows for managing portraits, photographing animals, and capturing fleeting, unrepeatable action. Its minimum focusing distance of just 24 cm allows for an original aesthetic, and even though it's not a 1:1 macro lens... its results will delight us.

New Processor

The new processor of the X-H2S camera is the X-Processor 5. Its management capacity allows for twice the processing speed of the best processor to date. The image resolution achieves better results with standard sensitivities, and the noise signal has been reduced and improved when pushing sensitivity to higher levels. The management capacity of the camera's properties by the new processor allows for much better AF precision and speed. The use of the AI processor enables subject detection AF, which follows a specific subject with greater accuracy. In video, the processor allows recording 4:2:2 10-bit content at 6.2K30p and 4K60p, and is compatible with various codecs, including Apple ProRes 422 HQ. Power consumption has also been optimized, making it possible for our autonomy to be greater in both photography and video.

Fujifilm Film Simulation, in Search of the Right Color Since 1934

The film simulation we can enjoy in the Fuji X-30 II and other Fuji cameras is the result of the manufacturer's knowledge development after many studies. Joining the family of CLASSIC CHROME, ACROSS, and ETERNA is a new film simulation, CLASSIC Neg. It captures the everyday life in that color we remember fondly, with a rich contrast that faithfully depicts the daily scenes. The new camera from the Fujifilm X family allows us to choose a color in the matrix from warm to cool tones and from magenta to green in our monochrome images, allowing us to shift the color to our liking, savoring a personal world full of nuances. 19 film simulations simulate unique sets of colors, tones, and saturation levels, including "Classic Neg.," based on color negative films. Notable is the ETERNA Bleach Bypass simulation, which faithfully simulates the film processing technique of the same name.

With Vlog Mode

We can set the mode dial of the new mirrorless X-S20 to the new Vlog position and easily change the camera settings using the touchscreen while recording videos. When priority mode is enabled, the focus naturally shifts from our face to the subject in front of us, literally offering an assistant for our recordings. Blurring the background will be an easy task as we can enable the Background Blur function to naturally diffuse the background with a single touch on the touchscreen.

First-Class Autofocus Function

Thanks to the new X-Processor 5, which features subject detection AF created with deep learning AI technology. In addition to providing incredible AF tracking and detection for human faces and eyes, the X-S20 can now also automatically detect and track a wide range of subjects, including animals, birds, cars, motorcycles, bicycles, airplanes, trains, insects, and even drones. This will allow photographers and videographers to focus on composition and creativity, trusting that the XS20 will follow focus precisely. The new Fujifilm mirrorless with APS-C sensor incorporates an improved autofocus prediction algorithm, allowing stable focus even when recording continuously moving subjects. Autofocus improvements are more noticeable in Zone AF and in challenging low-contrast situations.

With Image Stabilizer in Photo and Video

The new Fuji XS 20 allows for comfortable handheld shooting even in dark conditions, perfect for those moments of midnight inspiration. With a 5-axis in-body image stabilization system, the X-S20 offers up to seven stops of image stabilization for stable images and videos.
