Fujifilm XF 100-400 mm f / 4.5-5.6 R LM OIS WR Lens

Reduction of chromatic aberration to help deliver high-resolution images

The optical construction of 21 elements in 14 groups, including five ED lenses and one Super ED lens, provides results comparable to a fluorite lens, and by reducing axial chromatic aberration that produces detailed images, the maximum magnification is 0.19x, allowing users to take telephoto macro images.

Leader in its class 5.0-stop * image stabilization

A 5.0-stop image stabilization system - the most powerful of any super telephoto zoom lens - produces jerk-free results, even at the maximum telephoto setting of 609 mm (equivalent to the 35 mm format). In addition, if the panorama is detected, the lens automatically changes the camera's motion correction with respect to the vertical plane.

Fast and quiet AF thanks to twin linear motors

dual linear motors are used to deliver fast focusing on moving subjects. The motors are also quiet, making the lens ideal for recording live music and theatrical productions. Even faster AF shooting is possible with the focus limiter function, which limits the focus point to about 5 meters.

Compact and lightweight design

Thanks to a weight of less than 1.4 kg, the handheld shooting strain has been substantially reduced. If mounted on an X-T1 body, the combined weight is less than 2 kg, making it easier to keep moving during filming. What's more, the distribution of the lens weight when attached to a body makes it feel lighter than it really is.

Resistance to water/dust, -10°C low temperature operation and fluorine coating

The lens features 13 water- and dust-resistant seals at 12 points, enabling safe shooting in harsh outdoor environments
The fluorine coating applied to the front lens is water-repellent so it is less susceptible to staining and can be easily cleaned.

Sun visor with a polarization filter window and locking mechanism

The sun visor has a sliding window so a polarizing filter can still be accessed even when the hood is in place

The hood also has a locking mechanism to keep it firmly attached to the lens.
