Nikon AF-S DX NIKKOR Lens 35 mm f / 1.8G

The Nikon AF-S DX NIKKOR 35mm f / 1.8G lens is designed for use with DX format cameras and will provide a normal equivalent focal length of 52.5mm. With a maximum aperture of f / 1.8 it is useful in low light conditions and has an aspherical element to help control distortion and aberrations. In addition, it uses Nikon's built-in super layer to further minimize brightness and ghost images in your images.

With the Silent Wave Motor AF system with a rear-focus design, the NIKKOR 35mm is able to lock the focus quickly and silently. In addition, it has a manual focus override to take control whenever you want, and can focus as close as 11.8" to your subjects. In addition, it has a filter diameter of 52mm and features a 7-leaf diaphragm for even blurring elements.

The 35mm focal length closely matches a 50mm lens in FX format. This is perceived as a natural lens as it provides an undistorted viewing angle that is similar to what the human eye perceives on its own.
