Nikon NIKKOR Z 50mm f / 1.8 S Lens
The NIKKOR Z 50 mm f / 1.8 S from Nikon, a compact and well-versed cousin, offers a normal-length field of view along with a maximum bright aperture of f / 1.8. The comfortable pairs of perspective with f / 1.8 design adapt to work in difficult lighting conditions and offer greater control over depth of field. The optical design includes two aspherical elements and two extra low dispersion elements, which greatly reduce the spherical and chromatic aberrations for greater clarity and clarity. Both Nano Crystal and Super Integrated Coatings are also used to suppress flashes and ghosting for greater color fidelity and higher contrast.
In terms of handling, a stepper motor provides fast, quiet and accurate autofocusing performance along with a full-time manual focus override to accommodate still images and video applications. In addition, a programmable control ring can be configured for intuitive adjustment in a variety of camera and exposure settings.
The main objective of normal length is designed for Z-mounted mirrorless cameras with FX format.
The maximum aperture of f / 1.8 bright is suited to work in difficult lighting conditions and also offers greater control over depth of field to isolate subjects and work with selective focus.
Two aspherical elements are used to reduce spherical aberrations and distortion in order to obtain sharp images with accurate reproduction.
Two extra low dispersion elements greatly reduce color fringes and chromatic aberrations to produce greater clarity and chromatic reproduction.
A layer of Nano Crystal was applied, together with a super-integrated coating, to the lens elements to minimize the surface and internal reflections for a marked reduction in the lens reflection and the ghost image.
The stepper motor offers incredibly smooth, quiet and fast auto-focus performance that adapts well to still images and video applications. It is also possible to override the full-time manual focus and use an internal focusing design, where only the internal lens groups are moved during focusing, to maintain the overall length of the lens during use and to promote faster focusing speeds fast
The programmable control ring can be used to intuitively adjust a variety of camera and exposure settings.
The specialized electromagnetic aperture mechanism provides greater stability of exposure control which is especially beneficial when working with fast continuous shooting speeds.
The rounded nine-leaf diaphragm promotes a pleasant focusing quality that benefits from the use of shallow depth of field and selective focusing techniques.
The cylinder of the lens resistant to dust and moisture benefits the use of the lens in inclement conditions.
