Venus Optics Laowa Lens 12mm f / 2.8 Zero-D for Canon EF VE1228CSIL

Wide-angle with a rectilinear optical design, Canon EF- Laowa 12mm f / 2.8 Zero-D black from Venus Optics is specifically designed to limit distortion for clear and accurate representations of landscapes and architectural themes. the optical construction also incorporates a pair of aspherical elements and three extra low dispersion elements to control both spherical and chromatic aberrations to improve sharpness and reduce color fringe. a Frog Eye Coating has also been applied to repel dust and moisture from the front element of the front element of the color fringe

The ultra wide-angle focusing function designed for EF full mount Canon DSLR, this 12mm f/2.8 unit can also be used with APS-C models where it provides an equivalent focal length of 19.2mm.

The maximum aperture of f / 2.8 bright is very suitable for working in low and difficult lighting conditions.

The rectilinear design yields themes with minimal distortion to suit landscape and architectural applications.

Three extra low dispersion elements reduce chromatic aberrations and color edges for clarity and color neutrality. Two aspherical elements are also presented to limit spherical aberrations to improve sharpness.

Frog Eye Coating has been applied to repel both dust and moisture for added protection when working in inclement conditions.

The manual focus design employs a floating optical system to maintain performance across the entire focusing range from 7.09" to infinity.

The petal-shaped visor protects the lens from diffuse light to reduce glare and ghosts and also protects the front elements from accidental impacts.
