The Samyang 35mm T1.5 VDSLR MK2 comes with a Canon RF mount. The VDSLR MK2 continues the line with the same multi-layer coating process, industry-standard gear rings for iris and focus, and a fast T1.5 aperture, adding a 9-blade iris for beautiful smooth bokeh, weather sealing to keep moisture out, and focal lengths on both sides for greater versatility for focus pullers.

This 35mm lens produces 63.1° coverage when used with full-frame cameras. Aspherical lenses generate sharp images with minimal distortion and chromatic aberrations, with a minimum focusing distance of just under 1' from the lens. The 9-blade iris also allows you to create a stunning 18-ray starburst when stopped down completely.

Main Features

The compact size of the new Samyang VDSLR lenses makes them perfect for handheld or stabilized shooting. For example, the VDSLR 50mm T1.5 MK2 lens is only 7.47cm long and weighs 525.8 grams, yet offers all the functions of videographic lenses, from a declicked aperture function to a geared focus ring. The focus rotation is more than 130º, allowing for extremely precise manual focus on subjects and objects, turning recording into a true professional cinematic experience far beyond autofocus photographic lenses.

Impeccable image quality, covering the entire full-frame format
Don't be fooled by their small dimensions, the VDSLR MK2 lenses have been designed for cameras with full-frame sensors (36x24mm) and provide high-quality recordings in any environment. This new series inherits the impeccable image quality of its predecessors: the 4 lenses incorporate aspherical elements to reduce various aberrations and deliver vibrant and clear images. The 50mm lens also includes a hybrid-aspherical element to maintain the compact size without compromising performance.

Bright T1.5 for low-light recording environments
Independent filmmakers greatly appreciate multifunctional lenses that save them time and budget. All Samyang VDSLR MK2 lenses have a bright T1.5 aperture, allowing much more freedom of movement in any recording, enabling filmmakers to focus on the scene and unleash their creativity. New: Special protective sealing against dust and moisture
Requested by many photographers, the MK2 series now includes special sealing to protect the coupling between the lens and the camera mount, the most vulnerable part, to prevent the entry of dust, light rain, or snow. This makes it possible to photograph in more adverse weather conditions.

The new Samyang VDSLR MK2 models have a new sleek and elegant design with a matte black finish that leaves fewer fingerprint marks and is safer to handle.
