Advanced control system and user interface
The Odin II gives photographers more control than they have ever experienced before; control that is direct, logical and fast.
Each of the 5 Groups has its own direct access button, changes are made by turning a large, perfectly located dial control, selecting the flash, saving it and firing it. An illuminated LCD panel shows all settings at a glance, controls five flashes or groups of flashes, in TTL Auto or Manual mode, sets a Group to OFF and its information line disappears from the screen, and being able to view only the active groups ensures an easier working experience
More channels and Digital ID
The first four channels offer three groups and are compatible with the original Odin transmitter. 5 to 32 channels use the new functionality of the Odin II receiver, including the user-defined digital ID, for maximum safety in remote flash operation. the zoom settings of a shoe flash can be remotely controlled for perfect coverage from wide to point lighting. when shooting with Phottix Indra360/500 studio flashes, the Odin II transmitter also offers remote control of the intensity of the modeling lights.
High Speed Sync - High Speed Sync and OverDrive Sync
High Speed Sync - High speed sync with TTL flashes, up to 1/8000 for creative aperture effects and freeze action. An integrated AF assist light makes autofocus shooting safe and fast even in low light.
We have several custom functions, such as the connection / disconnection of the sound warnings, the illumination of the screen or the assistant to AF, which allow us to adjust the Odin II for any application.
A complete system
The Odin II system is compatible with the original Odin, the Phottix Mitros+ flashes, the award-winning Indra360 and Indra500 TTL studio flashes, Strato receivers, Strato II, and Atlas II in receiver mode. Firmware updates will soon be available for the Phottix Mitros+ and Indra360/500 to take advantage of the new features of the Odin II.
The Phottix Lighting System offers solutions for every photographer. Shoe flash users can use the Odin II and Mitros+. Those who need more power can use the Phottix Indra, Odin II and High Speed Sync functions. And all these products can be combined to create the perfect lighting solution for the most demanding applications.
