NANLITE FORZA 500B II BICOLOR LED SPOTLIGHT

The Nanlite Forza 500B II bicolor LED spotlight is exceptionally compact and lightweight, yet delivers 67,320 lux (6,254 fc) at 1 meter with the included reflector and has the versatility of an adjustable CCT range from 2700K to 6500K. It was made for professional production with a durable construction, control options for Bluetooth, 2.4G, and DMX/RDM, a COB protected with frosted glass, a completely redesigned yoke, and a control unit that can operate with V-mount batteries of AC or 26V or 14.4V-14.8V mounted on the side (sold separately). It has high precision SSI ratings of 84 (3200K) and 74 (5600K), a CRI of 96, and a TLCI of 97, allowing you to easily adjust the green to magenta shift in +/- 80, which is possible thanks to its WW LED source (RG) and its light mixing chamber.

The 500B II has all the advancements and improvements of the Forza II line. The control unit is 16% smaller, can operate with a single V-Mount battery, and has no fan. The Forza 500 II, which operates only with daylight, is just 2% brighter. The included cables are substantially longer: 19.8 feet (6 m) for the power cable, 9.8 feet (3 m) for the main cable, and even longer main cables are available separately. It is compatible with a wide range of Bowens Mount light modifiers, including Nanlite's own offerings. A useful 55° reflector is included, and with the FL-20G Fresnel (sold separately), the output increases to 17,400 Lux (1,616 fc) at 3 meters.

A single-sided continuous lock allows for easy positioning, and an umbrella holder gives you more light shaping options. The improved yoke allows for 360° rotation, is curved to provide a greater tilt range for large modifiers, and the base is compatible with baby pins and junior pin mounts. Dimming can be adjusted in 0.1% increments. The main fan has 4 modes: Smart, Maximum Speed, Low Speed, and Off for absolute silence. A redesigned padded carrying case with enhanced cushioning secures everything safely. A USB port allows for firmware updates that will add new features in the future and can power wireless DMX receivers (sold separately).

The Forza 500B II provides a substantial amount of output from a head that weighs only 9.5 pounds (4.3 kg) and is sized at just 15.7 x 9.1 x 5.6".

Locking the DMX/RDM ports facilitates advanced control.

G/M Adjustment When mixed with ambient light and other fixtures, adjusting the green to magenta shift allows the 500B II to match perfectly. This is also useful when you want to achieve a specific look but need to tweak the color to get there. It’s rare for a spotlight to have this feature, but you get it in the Forza 500B II.

Improvements The integral control unit has an easily accessible side-mounted battery, an easy-to-read OLED display, intuitive onboard controls with a lock button, and all cables connect to the top so it can rest on surfaces when in use. The quick-release clamp is durable, easy to use, and fits round or square trusses and stands. 12 effects can be customized and saved as new presets in the NANLINK app.
