The Leica Q2 in black is an advanced compact camera characterized by a renewed sensor design and intuitive use. With the modified 47.3 MP full frame CMOS sensor and Maestro II image processor, it is possible to get high-resolution stills along with both DCI and UHD 4K video recordings. The image processor also contributes to a wide ISO 50-50000 sensitivity range along with fast continuous high-resolution filming at 10-fps. The added resolution also offers a selection of unique cropping modes that simulate working with longer focal length lenses, including 35mm, 50mm and 75mm image fields.
The Leica Q2 has the same amazing wide-angle ASF prime lens. Summilux 28mm F1.7, tuned for sensor design for exceptional resolution and clarity. The lens design contains three aspherical elements and the F1.7 maximum aperture is ideal for working in low light. In addition, a macro adjustment makes it possible to work with subjects that are less than 17 cm away.
The Q2 is a particularly compact and intuitive camera, well suited for street photography and travel photography. The slim magnesium alloy frame is weather resistant to operate in tough environments. A high-resolution 3.68 MP OLED electronic viewfinder is included for smooth eye-level monitoring and a 3.0 "1.04m-dot LCD touchscreen offers easy playback and control of settings. Bluetooth LE and Wi-Fi Integrated allows wireless sharing and camera use remotely from a connected device via the Leica PHOTOS app.
