Iconic and premium design
The Leica M family is known for its premium look and feel. Its design is carefully optimized, using high-quality materials such as aluminum for the top cover with a scratch-resistant coating. The black Leica M11 focuses on efficiency and ergonomics, reducing its weight by 20% as the classic top cover was previously constructed with solid brass.

New Triple Resolution M Sensor
You can choose between a resolution of 60, 36, or 18 megapixels for raw image files in DNG and JPG format. The 60-megapixel option offers unprecedented image quality with maximum potential for printing and cropping, while the lower resolutions allow for faster camera performance, even greater dynamic range, longer burst durations, and smaller files.
The full-frame BSI CMOS sensor is a masterpiece of imaging technology, developed exclusively with triple resolution. The M11 produces brilliant images in combination with Leica's legendary M lenses, as it features a new color filter array. And for the first time, multi-field metering in rangefinder mode will be available, offering photographers a valuable tool for measuring light.

Next-generation processor Maestro III
The smooth and responsive operation of the M11 is optimized by the powerful Maestro III processor. Reflecting the most advanced processor technology, it allows the M11 to ensure all captured exposures reveal brilliant image quality by producing images with three different resolutions while always using the full sensor. It is ready to shoot almost continuously even at 36 megapixels DNG. Thanks to a 3 GB buffer memory and shooting at up to 4.5 frames per second at maximum resolution, photographers will no longer miss the decisive moment.

Wide range of ISO sensitivity
The Leica M11 can handle all types of lighting, offering a dynamic range of up to 15 stops at ISO 64, thanks to its Dual Pixel Gain technology. Each shot exhibits very low noise with a natural and elegant appearance, thanks to a new color filter technology on the sensor. With a maximum sensitivity of ISO 50,000, the Leica M11 thus opens up completely new areas of photography and offers exceptional image performance even in challenging lighting conditions. Conversely, you can shoot with fast lenses in very bright light situations and with shutter speeds of up to 1/16000s with the new electronic shutter.

Light measurement
For even better image quality from the M11, the following image is taken with the Apo Summicron 35 mm lens | f 8 | 1/320s | ISO 64, where you can observe that the bright tones do not break and the dark areas of your shots do not overflow.

Dual storage
Exclusive to the M11 is the omission of the traditional base plate, providing photographers direct access to the battery, the USB-C port, and the SD card. Additionally, the Leica M11 is equipped with an internal storage capacity of 64 GB. As a result, the M11 is the first M model to simultaneously save image files on two different storage media.

Long exposure
The shutter speed of up to 60 minutes gives you the opportunity to take photographs even in challenging lighting conditions. Pay special attention to the excellent separation of the smallest details of the boats, even with long exposure times.

High-resolution touchscreen
The unique design of the new touchscreen features a resolution of 2.3 million pixels, a brightness of 800 nits, and a 100% sRGB color gamut. This new screen provides direct access to all camera functions for an easier user experience. Additionally, you can customize the camera according to your individual needs.

Dynamic range
With its high dynamic range, you can perfectly capture all the details between the lightest and darkest tones. In the photograph shown below, you can see the details of the containers and the sunset perfectly exposed at the same time.

Advanced connectivity capabilities
The Leica M11 features a "Made for iPhone and iPad" certified accessory, offering unique capabilities with the included Leica FOTOS cable. This will enhance users' mobile workflows with the Leica FOTOS app, providing the ability to access location data and images via a Bluetooth connection, allowing for higher transfer rates. The improved connectivity features of the Leica M11 will be available through a new firmware version in the second half of 2022, which will be updated Over-the-Air.

Better battery life
Use the camera for longer on a single charge, as the M11 has 64% more power than its predecessors. A single battery charge is now enough for about 700 exposures with the Leica M11. Additionally, the USB-C port also serves to charge the camera's battery as it is compatible with most USB-C chargers.

Digital zoom
You can get even closer to the subject with the integrated digital zoom function offered by the M11, shooting in Live View in both JPG and DNG. Additionally, you have the option to choose between a 1.3x and 1.8x zoom of your focal distance. As always, the DNG file ensures it is always used. Furthermore, the new Live View stabilization is especially useful in the macro range, in combination with the Live View zoom, where millimeters are crucial for focusing on the right spot.
