Shimoda Designs Action X70 Extra Large DV Headunit Backpack Starter Kit (Black)

This is our largest package; created to accommodate our new DV Core drives (large and XL). The Action-X70 supports larger DSLR, digital video and film camera kits. Its 70-liter volume carries a lot of gear and is backed by a removable belt and removable and removable shoulder strap system. Like all Action-X series packs, it features an expandable roll-top that can quickly add 7 liters of volume to the bag. Two large side pockets are ideal for storing gimbals. The shoulder straps have two zippered sleeves to carry most phone sizes, plus accessories or a water bottle. The X70 is also a great camping bag for photographers looking for sunrises in remote locations.
Anti-Theft Rear Camera Access: The Shimoda Action X70 Backpack offers a rear gear compartment that allows wide and unobstructed access to most of your gear. It has an EVA padded door-style opening that acts as additional protection against airborne elements in difficult shooting environments and can help keep snow and rain out of the equipment area. The inner side of the door has a 15-inch laptop sleeve. It rests on the back of users and provides quick access at airports and other efficiency-driven scenarios.
Height Adjustable Harness: The Action X70 backpack features an adjustable torso height that offers four size options with approximately 10 cm (4 inches) of vertical adjustment. This means that the same backpack can fit low or high - male or female torso heights - ensuring a custom fit for each photographer. Having the torso adjusted correctly means that the internal aluminum frame is much more effective in transferring tension and weight from the shoulders so that they rest comfortably on the user's hips.
Central Unit Modular Chamber Insertion System: Perhaps the most innovative modular chamber inserts on the market, Shimoda's core units are simple, smart and multi-functional. A user can increase their design options with two or more central units by stacking and changing the way they are placed in the package. This system allows configurations to be adjusted to suit changing terrain and environmental conditions.
Expandable Roll Top - We gave the Action X series an EXPANDABLE roll top so the bag can be adjusted to the needs of your gear while maintaining a tight and compact fit. The roll top can be expanded with a volume range of 7 liters. The top section also has an additional quick-access YKK SplashGuard® zipper that makes getting to your gear extremely quick and easy, especially in bad weather conditions.
SPORTS-FRIENDLY DESIGN - Our Action X series is designed to run smoothly for adventure athletes, photographers, and filmmakers who like to be integrated into the action and environment. We've added action sports specific features like a removable helmet mount, ski tether straps, and a bike pump cover. We've even used extra-durable materials to help protect the pack from the kind of abrasion that mountain gear causes when placed outside.
