Viltrox NF-M43X Lens Mount Adapter for Nikon Lens with F, D or G Mount to Micro Four Thirds Camera

This Viltrox lens mount adapter allows you to mount a Nikon F, D or G mount lens on a Micro Four Thirds camera. As it does so, the adapter's optics help maximize the apparent angle of view of the attached lens while providing a unique magnification for the camera over the lens's aperture range.
If a lens designed for larger camera sensors is connected to a Micro Four Thirds camera, it would project a larger image than the camera sensor was built to accept. Able to capture only the central part of the projected image, the effective angle of view of the lens would be reduced, creating a "crop factor" in the camera. This adapter condenses the light from an attached lens and projects it onto the sensor of a Micro Four Thirds camera. This allows the camera sensor to use more light collected by a connected lens, effectively reducing the crop factor while making an additional stop of light available to the sensor for each of the f / stop settings of the lens.
This adapter supports manual focus and eight steps of aperture control. It is constructed of five lens elements in four groups that are designed to provide optical clarity and color fidelity, and the bottom of its removable tripod foot is threaded with a 1/4 "-20 accessory thread, allowing Direct connection to a tripod or quick release plate that features 1/4 "-20 brackets.
