The SmallRig Rotating Horizontal-to-Vertical Mounting Plate Kit for Sony Alpha 7R V / Alpha 7 IV / Alpha 7S III / Alpha 7R IV 4148 is designed to quickly switch between horizontal and vertical modes without adjusting the lens's optical axis. It secures the bottom of the camera via a 1/4 "-20 screw and an anti-twist pin and maintains full access to the flip LCD screen and ports, featuring built-in pads that prevent scratches and twists. Compatible with Arca / Manfrotto RC2 type tripod, the mounting plate can rotate 90 degrees by unlocking a knob to switch between horizontal and vertical shots. Its bottom 1/4 "-20 and 3/8"-16 threaded holes are also compatible with Handle 2093C, etc., to enhance stability in handheld mode. The base plate can be used separately to meet your various needs, with a hinge arm on the battery door that fits perfectly to the camera body for a better grip experience. It also comes with a strap slot, a 1/4 "-20 threaded hole for a wrist strap, a quick-release plate, etc.; and a double-ended magnetic wrench for easy installation and release.

Note:

1. Only supports lens adapter rings with an outer diameter of less than 63 mm. First, remove the lens adapter ring support (if any).

2. This product is not compatible with Tamron lenses with USB-C ports, such as:

Tamron 20-40mm f/2.8 Di III VXD (Sony E)

Tamron 28-75mm f/2.8 Di III VXD G2 (Sony E)

Tamron 35-150mm f/2-2.8 Di III VXD (Sony E)

Tamron 50-400mm f/4.5-6.3 Di III VC VXD (Sony E)

Not compatible with compact Sony lenses, such as:

Sony FE 24mm f/2.8 G

Sony FE 40mm f/2.5 G
