The Manfrotto GimBoom has been designed with one goal in mind - to allow gimbal users to expand the range of their recordings without adding heavy or complicated equipment. With a length of only 51cm closed, and with a lightweight carbon fiber construction, it is capable of supporting up to 6.5kg in the maximum extension. With its 1.15m fully extended, GimBoom users will be able to extend their creative horizons up to 3.5m off the ground while maintaining stabilization, taking their recordings to another level. In addition, thanks to its standard 3/8 ”and 1/4” threaded top connector, the Gimboom allows for hassle-free mounting with most Gimbals available on the market.

Take it to another level The GimBoom has been designed to allow users to maneuver their gimbals in ways that would require drones or complicated dolly-based systems to achieve the same effect. Incorporating advanced Fast Twisting Lock technology, the Gimboom can be extended very quickly with a simple twisting motion, which locks or adjusts in various positions, so users can easily capture a wider range of recordings. , including 'aerial' or ground level views, hitherto impossible for these teams.

The GimBoom allows creators, thanks to its extra reach, to choose from a wide variety of angles when composing their shots. And weighing only 800g, with a closed length of 51cm, the GimBoom is also exceptionally compact and lightweight, making it easy to take with us on the road. Manufactured with carbon fiber tubes and aluminum components to achieve the best performance, this lightweight accessory provides impressive stability when working even with high load gimbals supported by large professional camera based equipment.

If the operator needs a rest, the GimBoom incorporates a rubber stopper at one end, which allows it to rest on the ground in a comfortable and simple way, avoiding any possible damage. It also integrates three threaded connectors arranged at 120 °, which provide the possibility of attaching special GimBoom accessories, so that users can create a truly professional rig.
