Description

The handheld stabilizer DJI The RS 4 Mini, custom-designed for mirrorless cameras, is a lightweight handheld stabilizer that can be used with one hand and supports a payload of up to 2 kg. This single-grip stabilizer utilizes the stabilization algorithm. DJI RS for enhanced performance. Weighing only 2 kg, it can capture smooth videos for up to 13 hours thanks to the built-in 3100 mAh battery and is supported by the detachable extended grip/tripod.

For mirrorless cameras or smartphones

While the stabilizer is compatible with mirrorless cameras up to 2 kg, you can convert the RS 4 Mini into a smartphone stabilizer with the optional phone holder. The phone holder offers more functions and range of motion than a standard smartphone holder. The holder can also be used to monitor your camera's image through the Ronin smartphone app.
Multiple control options
  • Use the OLED touchscreen to calibrate and configure the parameters of the RS 4 Mini.
  • Control the gimbal movement, camera shutter, focus, and recording using the gimbal buttons.
  • Access wireless control for selected cameras via Bluetooth and the Ronin app.
  • Use gesture control when the optional RS smart tracking module is installed.

Shooting modes

The RS 4 Mini can switch between a variety of shooting modes:

  • Horizontal mode and vertical view for social networks without the need for additional accessories.
  • Vertical mode: standard mode for shots while walking or running.
  • Suspended mode: the stabilizer is rotated so that the camera is suspended to take photos from low angles and with tracking.
  • Flashlight mode: the camera can be held forward like a flashlight to shoot in tight spaces.
  • Briefcase mode: This facilitates shots from low angles using the adjustable briefcase handle.

Quick release plates

The dual-layer quick-release plates make it easy to mount a camera on the RS 4 Mini and eliminate the need to rebalance the gimbal after changing a new battery or memory card.
Built-in battery
  • The RS 4 Mini battery grip contains a built-in 3100 mAh battery that provides up to 13 hours of runtime (fixed mode), which is generous enough for shooting all day.
  • It charges in less than two hours using the included USB-C cable.

Smart functions

Create impressive effects using intelligent motion features, such as Panorama, Time-Lapse, and Tracking.
Accessories
  • The RS intelligent tracking module is mounted on a pogo pin bracket on the gimbal to allow for tracking and gesture control.
  • An integrated NATO mount allows you to attach accessories such as the RS briefcase handle.
  • The detachable tripod also functions as an extended grip.
