Building on a concept that originated with the ZV-1, the ZV-E10 is the mirrorless continuation of this idea of a camera built around the vlogging concept. It is a portable and high-capacity camera but incorporates a series of design options and shooting modes that are ideal for solo productions. A vari-angle screen allows you to frame shots accurately, the integrated directional microphone is specifically designed to record more accurate sound from front-facing subjects, and capture modes like Background Blur and Product Showcase help you highlight specific subjects with ease.

In terms of specifications, the ZV-E10 revolves around a 24.2MP APS-C Exmor CMOS sensor, which allows UHD 4K video recording up to 30p, Full HD recording at 120p, and stills shooting up to 11 fps. Sensitivity ranges from 100 to 32000 to work in a variety of lighting conditions, and the sensor design also integrates a fast hybrid AF system with 425 points for precise subject tracking and detection.

The body design is reminiscent of other Sony Alpha E-mount cameras and features an intuitive control design along with the functional 3.0" vari-angle LCD touchscreen for intuitive control and framing of settings. With audio being a major concern for vlogs and creative content, the ZV-E10 focuses on this aspect of recording by including a 3-capsule directional microphone in the camera design, as well as incorporating 3.5mm microphone and headphone ports and making the top multi-interface shoe support a digital audio interface to improve audio quality.

The Sony ECM-W2BT offers vloggers, YouTubers, journalists, and content creators using Sony cameras with MI digital interfaces a truly wireless, flexible, and easy-to-use microphone system featuring advanced Bluetooth technology for high-quality and reliable, low-latency audio performance.

The miniature clip-on transmitter with a built-in omnidirectional microphone makes it quick and easy to mic the subject for a quick interview without having to worry about a cable. The transmitter also features a 3.5mm stereo audio input, allowing you to connect a smaller, more discreet lavalier like the ECM-LV1 (available separately) if desired.

The compact receiver connects directly to the MI shoe mount on compatible Sony cameras, providing the system with up to 9 hours of recording time, assisted by the camera's power. Both the transmitter and receiver are powered by built-in rechargeable lithium-ion batteries; without an MI connection, the system will operate for up to 3 hours between charges. If the camera's MI shoe is also equipped with a digital interface, the direct connection allows the camera to record pristine sound with an ultra-low noise floor.

An intelligent feature is the addition of a built-in microphone on the receiver unit, along with a 3-position switch that lets you capture audio from the subject on the transmitter, from the camera operator on the receiver, or from both at the same time for interviews. The receiver also features a 3.5mm output for connection to traditional DSLR/mirrorless cameras, and a 3.5mm TRS cable is supplied along with a USB cable and a windscreen for the transmitter/microphone.
