Olympus presents the fifth model in its award-winning OM-D camera range: the E-M10 Mark II, of great interest to advanced photographers who enjoy spontaneous photography and seek a distinctive design.
With a classic and elegant style, it features designer buttons and dials, and combines a compact metal body with some of the most advanced technologies of its bigger sisters: the E-M1 and the E-M5 Mark II.
Thanks to its 5-axis in-body image stabilization, it prevents blurry images in both photos and videos, even in low light. Additionally, it features a high-speed, high-definition OLED electronic viewfinder and a 3-inch tilting touchscreen.
It also boasts features such as 4k time-lapse video or remote camera control from a Smartphone or tablet via Wi-Fi using the Olympus OI.Share app.
The small and lightweight OM-D E-M10 Mark II is compatible with over 40 Micro Four Thirds lenses and a wide selection of optional system accessories.
The E-M10 Mark II is available in black and silver and will go on sale in mid-September 2015 in body only format or in a kit with a lens. The recommended kit will include the M.ZUIKO DIGITAL ED 14-42 mm 1:3.5-5-6 EZ Pancake lens and will be available for a price of €799.
The body only will be available for a price of €599. Along with the popular and affordable E-M10 introduced in early 2014, the E-M10 Mark II is the second most affordable camera in the award-winning OM-D range of compact, interchangeable lens cameras from Olympus.
Design that works and impresses.
The E-M10 Mark II offers the image quality of the OM-D range in a very compact and lightweight classic body that makes it easy to carry anywhere for top-notch photos and videos, no matter where you are. Additionally, it features an optional grip that provides extra hold and stability to the camera in case you want to use a large telephoto lens.
The latest of the OM-D is not only designed to be easy and comfortable to carry; it is clearly a statement of intent in terms of design. From any angle you look at the camera, all eyes are irresistibly drawn to the shine and elegant lines of its dials.
Their position on the upper right of the body and their wide and robust dimensions make them very easy to use. Thanks to the retro style of the on/off lever, its central viewfinder, its dials, and a solid, all-metal construction, anyone who holds an E-M10 Mark II is likely to feel like a true specialist photographer.
