VANGUARD VEO HD 8420 - ED BINOCULARS 8X42

Veo HD is the Vanguard optics family designed for sports and outdoor leisure activity enthusiasts in nature. They feature low dispersion ED lenses and, together with BAK4 phase-corrected prisms, reduce chromatic aberration across the entire field of view and enhance image contrast. They are complemented by an anti-reflective and multi-coated optical system to improve light transmission and achieve bright and clear images, even in low-light situations.

ED OPTICS

Compared to other binoculars, the Veo HD includes ED quality lenses that reduce the dispersion width (W), significantly improving image resolution. Additionally, BAK4 prisms allow for high light transmission, providing a clear and bright view. This optical system also comes with the quality assurance of Norland optical adhesive.

MULTI-COATING

The coating of the lenses is crucial for evaluating light transmission and image quality. At Vanguard, we have been working with broadband multi-coating for over 30 years.

This type of coating increases brightness across the entire visible color spectrum for the human eye 350NM-700NM (purple-red), rather than enhancing just one band.

We apply this technique to all optical lenses in the binoculars to reduce chromatic aberration and reflections, to reproduce real and clear images.

OUTDOOR ESSENCE

Veo HD binoculars are suitable for outdoor use even on rainy days. Thanks to their waterproof exterior membrane and the hydrophobic anti-fog coating on the optics, they repel water to prevent fogging. In fact, they can even be submerged up to 1m deep without affecting their optical quality.

TWO MAGNIFICATIONS

Vanguard offers the Veo HD binoculars in both 8x42 and 10x42. Two types of magnification for every situation. If you're looking for a wider field of view, go for the Veo HD 8420. If you're looking for greater magnification of the subject you're observing, opt for the Veo HD 1042. Any option comes with the previously described optical quality features and the same features: ED optics, multi-coating, ergonomics, and lightweight body, as well as being waterproof and anti-fog.
