This lens features Sigma's own OS system (Optical Stabilizer) with a correction of approximately four stops. Thanks to this technology, the lens is a powerful ally for photographers to capture distant subjects without a tripod.
Two OS modes available: Mode 1 for general photography, and Mode 2 for use in sports photography and other situations where subjects are moving quickly.
By connecting the lens to the USB Dock, which is sold separately, users can fine-tune the OS function in detail.

New TSC (Thermally Stable) material

The new material "TSC (thermally stable compound)" has been incorporated, which has very low contractility, especially with temperature changes, maintaining its firmness. Compared to the generally used polycarbonate, TSC has greater elasticity (approximately 25% more). Since thermal contraction is low, it has a high affinity with metal parts, allowing for the manufacture of high-quality products.
