Maximum image quality thanks to the IPS panel
The monitor masters the triad for exceptional image quality: excellent resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels, the highest contrast of 1000:1, and stable brightness of up to 350 cd/m². This means you will experience sharp text contours, brilliant graphics, and clear images. Thanks to the high-quality IPS panel with LED backlighting, contrasts and colors remain stable from any viewing angle.

Precise color control
An image can only be perfect when the colors are. For this reason, the monitors of EIZO They have a look-up table (LUT) of at least 10 bits, which allows for much more precise color information assignment compared to a standard 8-bit LUT. The finer color gradations ensure that gradients are always displayed perfectly and also offer individual adjustment options. For example, white points can be adjusted from 4000 to 10,000 Kelvin (K) in increments of 500 K without any loss.

Overdrive to quickly change image
Fast, faster, overdrive. The overdrive function accelerates the switching time, so the gray-to-gray change takes only 5 ms on average. You will be able to watch fast-changing movies and images without annoying glares.

Save energy and protect your eyes with Auto EcoView
Day, night, light, darkness: no matter when and how you work, the Auto EcoView function continuously measures changes in ambient light and optimizes the screen to the ideal brightness levels. Completely automatically via a sensor. The advantages: it reduces annoying glare and your eyes don't tire as quickly. A special two-point control takes into account both the brightest and darkest environments throughout the day with the desired screen brightness in each case. Another advantage: thanks to the automatic brightness adjustment, you will save up to 50% of electricity compared to a monitor that operates permanently at maximum brightness.

Without blinking
To protect your eyes, EIZO It has developed a hybrid technology to control backlighting. This combines the advantages of the usual PWM (pulse-width modulation) control and DC (direct current) control. The PWM control uses much higher frequencies than standard PWM methods. The result: a flicker-free viewing experience, maintaining image quality and color stability. Furthermore, compared to pure DC control, it can adjust the brightness to less than 1% of the maximum value in dimly lit rooms. The advantage: your screen will remain glare-free even in these conditions.

Anti-reflective coating: more image, less reflections
The EV2456 offers an optimal anti-reflective surface. By minimizing reflections through the dispersion of reflected light, the EV2456 effectively prevents glare and eye strain. Flexible support
Ergonomic and stable: the adjustable stand focuses on ergonomics. You can swivel, tilt, and incline the monitor in the most comfortable way for your back, neck, and sitting posture. It can be continuously adjusted in height and lowered almost to the table or the base of the stand. This allows you to place the top row of the image ergonomically below eye level.

The predefined color modes optimize the display of images, texts, or movies. It makes a difference whether you are watching a movie, editing an image, browsing the Internet, or writing texts. With just the press of a button, you set the corresponding preset for brightness, gamma correction, and color temperature. For example, the Paper mode simulates the pleasant contrast of printed paper, which is easy on the eyes when reading and prevents fatigue.

Screen InStyle
In addition to the on-screen menu, you can comfortably control the EV2456 using the Screen InStyle software on a Windows PC. The configuration options include color reproduction, energy-saving options, and ergonomic functions. In multi-screen systems, settings can be applied synchronously to all screens connected with Screen InStyle.
System administrators can centrally manage and control network-connected monitors with Screen InStyle installed using the Screen InStyle Server application. This optimizes energy consumption and simplifies monitor asset management.

Monitor Configurator
Reduction of workload for administrators: The software allows creating a default configuration for all relevant monitor settings. This configuration can be distributed to the monitors connected through the local network, which facilitates the deployment process.

Save electricity without compromising quality: The EcoView optimizer automatically reduces the backlighting for dark images. This reduces electricity consumption by up to 30%. Zero watt consumption thanks to the power switch
The monitors feature a built-in mechanical power switch, which is very practical for saving energy: If you turn off the monitor with the power switch, the device will stop consuming energy. Additionally, it consumes a maximum of 0.5 watts in standby mode.
