Manfrotto 608 Nitrotech Fluid Video Head

The Manfrotto 608 Nitrotech is a flat-bottom fluid video head designed for the versatility needs of the freelance content creator involved in different types of projects. Thanks to its flat base with a 3/8 "-16 mounting thread, as well as its relatively compact and lightweight design, the head can be easily moved between a compatible tripod and a slider, jib, monopod, and various other gear. One of the key features of the Nitrotech 608 is its nitrogen gas piston (hence Nitrotech) counterweight mechanism, which allows for continuous, rather than stepped or fixed, counterweight adjustment for the full payload range of the 0 to 17.6 lb. head. Fluid technology significantly improves continuously variable drag performance and allows for smooth, vibration-free pan and tilt movements.
Providing more flexibility, the head chamber plate system features a side locking mechanism that allows for faster and more secure mounting of the chamber plate and chamber load. Instead of having to align and slide the camera plate from the rear, you can comfortably position one side of the plate from the top and then press and click the other side.
The 608 Nitrotech offers two rosette mounts to attach the included pan bar to the left or right side. These rosettes also feature Manfrotto's Easy Link system for mounting accessories via an articulated arm. Each rosette has a 3/8 "-16 port in the center and Manfrotto and ARRI anti-rotation grooves that surround the mounting port. The Easy Link system is designed to support Manfrotto articulated arms equipped with anti-rotation pins or those with ARRI positioning pins. to prevent twisting At the same time, standard articulated arms can also be attached.
