The GH3382QD Series 3 central ball head is a large professional head designed for Mountaineer Series 2 and 3 tripods. It can also work with other Gitzo Series 2 tripods. It weighs only 770 grams and has a load capacity of up to 20Kg. The GH3382QD head features a large ball and a quick release adapter compared to smaller versions. It ensures strength and comfort when using heavy equipment. It includes features like friction control located within the ball lock for precise adjustment. This model is characterized by an independent 360° panning lock, providing smooth movements and is constructed with high-quality, high-strength aluminum. The included quick release plate is kept secure thanks to the locking screw, and the bubble level helps photographers keep the horizon straight.

This plate is a model compatible with Arca-Swiss (GS5370SD), although the head accepts many other D-shaped plates and virtually all Arca-Swiss plates from other brands.
