The GF120mmF4 R LM OIS WR Macro is a mid-telephoto macro lens specifically designed for the new G mount and the 43.8 x 32.9 mm sensor. The GF lens range, capable of handling resolutions up to 100MP, combines the latest technologies with extensive knowledge accumulated in XF lens manufacturing to deliver the best possible image quality and maximize the potential of the new GFX 50S medium format mirrorless camera. Intuitive controls include a C position on the aperture ring, allowing you to adjust the aperture value with the control dial on the camera body. The A (Auto) and C positions can now be locked, and all lenses are weather and dust resistant, and can operate at temperatures as low as -10°C for worry-free outdoor shooting. A brass mount has been adopted for its strength. This new series of lenses will become a professional workhorse.

High Image Quality
The lens construction of 14 elements in 9 groups (including 3 ED lenses) offers high-resolution images with minimal aberration thanks to the floating focus system. The positioning of the three ED lenses is optimized to minimize color aberration, ensuring the best possible image quality with a beautiful front and rear bokeh effect.

Fast and Silent Autofocus

Weather / Dust Resistant, Operates at Low Temperatures of -10°C, and Fluorine Coating
The lens features nine weather-resistant seals so you can shoot outdoors in wet, cold, or dusty conditions. A fluorine coating is also applied to the front element of the lens to repel water and dirt, further enhancing the lens's durability.

Operation
The aperture ring has a C position (control dial mode). This allows you to control the aperture with the control dial on the camera body. The A (AUTO) and C positions can be locked to prevent incorrect operations. A focus range selector allows you to set the optimal focus range for macro and mid-telephoto use to reduce autofocus time.
