Viltrox AF 85mm f1.8 STM FZ Nikon Z lens
Distinguished by its sleek design and advanced optics, the Viltrox AF 85mm f / 1.8 Z is a vertical-length cousin designed for Nikon's Z-mount mirrorless cameras. The lens's short telephoto focal length is combined with the bright f / 1.8 design to suit working in a variety of lighting conditions and also to control depth of field and isolate the subject. The optical design consists of an extra-low dispersion element and four elements made of highly transparent, short-wavelength glass, which help reduce chromatic aberrations for high clarity and accurate colors. An HD Nano multilayer coating has also been applied to suppress flare and ghosting to improve contrast when working in bright lighting conditions. Additionally, the lens features an STM motor for fast and quiet autofocus performance along with a 2.6 'minimum focusing distance for working with close-up subjects.
The main vertical length is designed for FX-format Z-mount Nikon mirrorless cameras, however it can also be used with DX models where it provides a 127.5mm equivalent focal length.
The bright maximum aperture of f / 1.8 benefits working in difficult lighting conditions and also offers a great deal of control over the focus position when using shallow depth of field techniques.
An extra-low dispersion element and four elements made of highly transparent glass help reduce a variety of aberrations to produce well-corrected images with accurate colors and no color streaks.
HD Nano multi-layer coating has been applied to individual elements to reduce flare and ghosting to improve contrast. Additionally, this coating is waterproof to help protect exposed surfaces from moisture.
The STM autofocus motor offers quiet and precise focusing performance along with a 2.6 'minimum focusing distance.
Electronic contacts transmit Exif data and allow camera-based aperture selection. Additionally, a built-in USB port allows you to update lens firmware.
The nine-blade diaphragm contributes to pleasant bokeh quality.
The included lens hood protects the front element from stray light that causes flare and also offers some additional physical protection.
