Employing the well-known and intuitive monolight form factor, Westcott has launched the FJ200 strobe light with power, quick response, and the advantage of a removable and rechargeable lithium polymer battery that will provide 450 full-power flashes with a 2-hour charge. The FJ200 has a 9-stop power range in 0.1-stop increments and recycles quickly from 0.5 to 1.3 seconds. It is backed by a maximum flash duration of 1/20,000 in freeze mode, capable of reaching 20 fps, and is compatible with high-speed sync up to 1/8000 seconds, as well as front and rear curtain sync.

One of the interesting features of the FJ200 is its TTL option. The flash has a built-in receiver with 16 channels, 32 groups, and 2.4 GHz that, with the separate purchase of an FJ-X2m wireless trigger or an FJ80 universal flash, will accept TTL signals at distances up to 328' from Canon, Nikon, Sony (with adapter), FUJIFILM, Panasonic Lumix, and Olympus cameras. The flash has a 5/8" receiver for mounting on industry-standard light stands, as well as a USB-C port for Windows and Mac firmware updates. Westcott generously provides a reflector, a travel case, a 30-degree grid, and a USB cable.
