COB Technology
For those who are not yet familiar with what the acronym C.O.B. entails, which is gaining attention in the evolution of continuous LED lighting, here's a brief explanation: It stands for Chip On Board, a technology that stands out for combining a set of LED chips into a concentrated assembly on a single point. Unlike matrix panels, this technology provides a sharp and focused light projection.

Bowens Mount for LED Modifiers
Smallrig has opted to facilitate the use of light modifiers with the most popular and universal mount. Equipped with a Bowens S mount, the new Smallrig RC 120B LED also features an integrated yoke where the umbrella rod can be placed.

Remote Control via App
The new Smallrig RC120B LED can be controlled through the dials on the rear panel and the rear LCD screen, but also remotely with Bluetooth via the SmallGoGo app developed by Smallrig. An app that allows simultaneous control of a large number of units, enabling fine-tuning of available parameters such as intensity, color temperature, and various special effects.

Cooling via Integrated Fan
Cooling to prevent overheating of our Smallrig lighting equipment is automatically activated when the temperature reaches 60 degrees Celsius. An integrated fan operates silently, not exceeding 28 decibels. To compare what 28 dB means, we can say that normal breathing reaches 10 dB and a whisper can be 30 dB.
