The Nanlite Forza 500 II LED spotlight is exceptionally compact and lightweight, yet it offers 92,310 Lux (8576 fc) at 1 meter with the included reflector. It was made for professional production with durable construction, control options for Bluetooth, 2.4G, and DMX / RDM, a glass-protected COB, a completely redesigned yoke, and a control unit that can operate with AC or side-mounted 26V or 14.4V-14.8V V-Mount batteries (sold separately). It has a high precision CRI rating of 96 and a TLCI of 97, and allows you to easily adjust the green-to-magenta shift at +/- 80, made possible by its W (RG) LED source.

This is the second generation of this fixture and it has been improved in every way. The control unit is 16% smaller, can operate with a single V-Mount battery, and has no fan. The included cables are substantially longer: 19.8 feet (6 m) for the power cable, 9.8 feet (3 m) for the head cable, and even longer head cables are available separately. It is compatible with a wide range of Bowens Mount light modifiers, including Nanlite's own offerings. A useful 55° reflector is included, and with the FL-20G Fresnel (sold separately), output increases to 20,860 Lux (1938 fc) at 3 meters.

A single-sided continuous lock allows for easy positioning, and an umbrella mount provides more light shaping options. The improved yoke allows for 360° rotation, is curved to provide a greater tilt range for large modifiers, and the base is compatible with baby pins and junior pin mounts. Dimming can be adjusted in 0.1% increments. The main fan has 4 modes: Smart, Full Speed, Low Speed, and Off for absolute silence. A redesigned padded carrying case with improved cushioning holds everything securely. A USB port allows for firmware updates that will add new features in the future and can power wireless DMX receivers (sold separately).

Compact Power
The Forza 500 II provides substantial output from a head that weighs just 8.5 lb (3.8 kg) and is only 13.9 x 9.1 x 5.6" in size.

Application and DMX Control
You can fully control Forza 500 II with your phone via Bluetooth using the free NANLINK app for iOS and Android. 2.4G allows you to use the WS-RC-C2 remote control (sold separately) or the WS-TB-1 transmitter box (sold separately) for larger setups. Locking the DMX/RDM ports makes advanced control easy.

G/M Adjustment
When mixed with ambient light and other fixtures, adjusting the green-to-magenta shift allows the 500 II to match perfectly. This is also useful when you want to achieve a specific look but need to adjust the color to get there. It's rare for a spotlight to have this feature, but you get it in Forza 500 II.

All Around Improvements
The Control Unit has easy-access side-mounted battery plates, an easy-to-read OLED display, intuitive built-in controls with a lock button, and all cables connect at the top so it can rest on surfaces when in use. The quick-release clamp is durable, easy to use, and fits round or square trusses and stands. 11 effects can be customized and saved as new presets in the NANLINK app. Decades of focus
